by music, and sang everywhere and any chance she had. Her mother, Bessie, recalls "When

Joanne was about 6 or 7 years old, she would dress up and take these high red heels I used to have,

a microphone, the cassette player and would  have us announce her entrance! There she sang over the

voice of Glykeria. It was quite comical but very cute. Needless to say, I had no high heels left.

But her father and I knew she loved singing from back then. She even sang Whitney Houston's

'I will always love you' and we were absolutely stunned by the power in her voice."

She was never able to pursue her dream to record a song, but in 2008 she was introduced to producer and

songwriter Lisa Ratner, of Fastrax Studios. Lisa Ratner has written and produced for Barbara Streisand,

Vanessa Williams and Dolly Parton, and the list goes on.  Joanne recorded four songs with Lisa and due to Joanne's

admiration and respect for the amazingly talented singer, Anastacia, she  recorded a cover of the

chart topping "I'm Outta Love". All four of these songs will not be released on her album,

as she considers them to be her "demos".

In July 2010, Joanne teamed up with an amazing producer, Wade Tonken, to begin recording

her newest songs, which will be released on her album.  Her first recording with Wade

was "Symphony of My Life" which is truly her best song yet. The arrangement of the

track and Joanne's vocals make this  a remarkable track!

Joanne's musical taste is very diverse and she's known to express that with her songs;

where one song may be a ballad another is an outright rock track . This diversity is what makes

Joanne unique. She's been quoted in saying "I truly never listen to the radio here in the states;

I'm not intrigued with the current music being played! Other than certain alternative and metal stations,

unfortunately, nothing else interests me - for now! So I constantly listen to  my personal CD's.

Besides Anastacia, I love listening to Tarja, Sarah Brightman, Sertab Erener, Giorgos Alkaios,

Mando and certainly classical music; such as Tomaso Albinoni and Mozart. It is simply remarkable

and talented music which you never hear of here (in the US) - it's a shame... When I write my songs and

think about the melody, I want to be 'different' and I believe that difference can be

heard in my songs - as in Symphony of My Life and Haunted...."

She completed "Another Night" in April and in May was back in the studio recording her newest song "Haunted".

In January, Joanne completed her re=make of In The Air Tonight (Phil Collins); this track is great - the vocals, the music,

simply marvelous. It's so great in fact, that it is currently being remixed by a DJ!

Joanne's vocal abilities are simply 'endless', and many who have heard her songs have said "Wow - there is A LOT of

power in that voice!" The popular Greek singer, Μαντώ, personally  said to her that she has a "very distinctive voice".
